If you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff.

a few weeks ago i discovered this great new recipe website, gojee, and its pretty awesome if you like cooking!  you enter in what you are craving, what you don't like, or just whatever you have in your kitchen and it gives you a recipe using the things you crave/already have.  it won't show you any recipes that use things you hate.  it makes figuring out what to make for dinner a lot easier!

i have a herb garden and have used all the herbs in dishes but the mint, so gojee was kinda the perfect solution to finding a recipe.  i typed in "fresh mint" in the "i crave" area and found this recipe for spicy summertime ratatouille with mint.

i had also entered in other staple ingredients that i always keep in the house - garlic, red onions and lemons (i have a tree), so i only had to buy an eggplant, red bell pepper, zucchini, and a habanero chili.  i was a little scared of the habanero...  so small, but so hot.  i wore gloves when i chopped it for safety.

so scary

the ratatouille was so good!  i'd actually never had it before, but i'd seen the disney movie (soo cute!), and somehow i thought it involved pasta.  it doesn't.  healthy and delicious!!

Love ratatouille too. I was inspired to try it after the Pixar film and i've never looked back!
