sister style

work has been insane this week so far, so i'm taking the easy route - more of my sister's style (hey, she is pretty cute so i don't feel like i'm neglecting the blog!).   these pictures are from our sunday adventure. 

she likes to be silly, if you can't tell!  her skirt is actually a dress, and i have the same one in red!  i like how we each find our own way to wear the dress!  she has also worn the dress as a top, so creative!

happy friday!  since i've been sick i haven't really been getting dressed at all this week.  basically just throw on leggings and a sweatshirt.  no motivation here to put on real clothes.  luckily for you all i have some photos that were taken last week before i started feeling bad, and didn't get around to posting until now.

i have had these j brand lovestory flares for ever but hardly ever wear them because they are sooo long.  i've hemmed them twice and finally just bought a pair of taller shoes so i could wear them!

little sister

i recently hired my little sister to work part time for me (its not nepotism if i know she'll do a good job... right?) which i like because: 1. i get to see her more! & 2. she is at my house more so she can be my new blog photog (nothing like forcing your little sister to do something... just like the good ol' days)!  and then i decided to take pictures of her outfit since it seemed blog-worthy, check her out:

such a cutie!  i am actually kinda shocked she allowed me to take these pictures, since she doesn't usually let me take pictures of her.  but that might be cause i always try to take pictures of her eating. hahahaha.

p.s. i think carlos is not happy i've been neglecting his blog.  he keeps showing up in all the photos lately!

my mom is going to rome

as i am typing, my mom is on a airplane on her way to rome, which im super jealous and a little sad about cause my mom, sister and i have been talking about going to italy together for awhile now (happening in 2012). anyway, my mom came out to my house to be picked up by the super shuttle (at 3am! yikes!) and i think she had the cutest airplane outfit:

brown v-neck sweater, handmade scarf, yellow print skirt, brown tights, and of course the frye harness boot

while we all opted for outfits just a notch above pajamas for our flight to hawaii, i'm thinking dressing a little nicer for a flight isn't such a bad idea. my mom is flying standby to and from rome, and ended up in first class (must be nice) on the JFK to rome flight. i'm thinking it might of had something to do with the outfit... just saying. crossing my fingers she makes it home by xmas!
