hope everyone had a good thanksgiving (if you celebrate)! my mom, sister and i drove down to san diego for thanksgiving dinner with the family. my mom made the pumpkin pies, and i made the most amazing and delicious dessert - chocolate caramel salted tart.

the food was all ridiculously good, we had a traditional turkey and a chipotle turkey! there was an amazing kale and onion side dish as well as the usual mashed potatoes, cranberries, stuffing and gravy. of course, the desserts were my favorite part of the meal!
in the spirit of thanksgiving, i'd just like to say THANK YOU to all my followers/readers! i can't believe that anyone other than my mother is actually interested in anything i post. you guys are all so awesome, and i love your kind comments!
