blending in (camo pants)

blogging:  hard when i'm not inspired. and also when i feel bored with my closet. but then i did some shopping (also have A LOT of stuff to get rid of) and feel a bit more like blogging.  i found out about a rag&bone/jean sale in LA.  it was like... amazing.  and so now i have some new stuff to blog about!  i picked up these camo pants which i'd had my eye on for awhile (really just waiting for them to go on sale & hoping my size would still be available).  i guess i got lucky, because i found them at the sale!  i love the pixelated camouflage print - something different from the rest of the camo print out right now.  in other news - i've jumped on the denim vest train.  and i'm obsessed with my dolce vita shoes.

rainbow bright

this season bright, bold colors are everywhere, popping up on every thing from nail color to airy chiffon tops, handbags and even shoes!  my favorite is definitely colored denim and these brightly colored bottoms come in every color of the rainbow... literally!

i have way too much black, white and grey in my closet, so colored denim is a really easy way to add some color to my wardrobe without having to buy a bunch of new shirts.  i've gotten enough of the warm colors in my closet (all jbrand, seen here & here), so now i need to get a cooler colored denim - blue or green.  my only hesitation with blue, is it too close to actual denim color?  what are your thoughts on colored denim?  love it or hate it?  let me know!

favorite skinny jeans

ever since i bought my first pair of jbrand 10" skinnies i've become obsessed with them. jbrand has come up with the perfect skinny jean. the leg opening is 10" around, which is perfect for wearing with boots, especially if you hate the "bunching" that many skinny jeans create. the fit of the jeans is amazing! i have a pair in black and people have thought that i was wearing leggings!
