add some whimsy to your closet!

when i used to think of keds, i'd get visions of  the white leather "tennies" i wore as a kid.  not the cutest, most exciting shoes.  then a few months ago i saw  the blanket stripe keds for madewell (and got them for my birthday) and the tennies quickly became one of my favorite pairs of shoes for spring (see here and here).  i had really missed wearing tennies!  they are so comfortable and cute, now i want another pair (or two)!  so you can probably imagine how excited i was when i opened my email to find pictures of the new whimsy print champion keds!

personally, i love a good print with animals on it (not to be confused with animal print like leopard, snake, etc..)!  if dogs running around with a shoe in its mouth is a bit too whimsical for you, there are plenty of other prints, textures and colors to choose from!
