ron & draco for band of outsiders

its rare that my most favorite thing ever (harry potter) meets with my other favorite thing ever (fashion).  most often the two meet on the red carpet.  so you can probably imagine how excited i was i first saw the photos of rupert grint ron weasley and tom felton draco malfoy for band of outsiders!  or maybe you don't like harry potter at all and you can't imagine.  either way, please enjoy this amazing photos below:  
 

i think its so nice that ron and draco could put aside their differences and model some muggle clothing!  the shoot was at the magic castle in LA, obviously.  now, i don't usually follow menswear - i can't wear it and the boyfriend is sooo not into fashion.  however, i do have to say that i really like quite a few of the pieces.  i could probably even convince the boyfriend to wear a thing or two!

pretend vacation

finally, the weekend is here! lately i've really been wishing that i was going on a nice week long vacation this summer. preferably in hawaii.  tuesday my mom got an email from our family friends who own a house in hilo, on the big island.  they are in hawaii right now and said that we must plan a trip to hawaii to overlap with their next trip.  this just makes me want a trip even more. i'm kicking myself for not planning a real vacation.  big sur wasn't long enough, and my trip to san francisco next week won't be relaxing at all (fun, but not relaxing). so i'm just gonna pretend that this last week i was in hawaii.  so hey, check out the pictures from my trip:

in reality these pictures are from my trip to hawaii last summer with my mom, sister and boyfriend.  man, i miss hawaii.  i don't know why i never posted any photos before.  i wasn't blogging so often a year ago.  my mom said she is going to hawaii next year, i said i'm going too!  hopefully time speeds up.  

by the way - the week wasn't totally horrible, it ended on a good note.  and by that i mean i some how managed to register for pottermore beta!  it might sound weird cause i really haven't mentioned my unhealthy obsession with harry potter.  but yes, its true (see proof here).

rachel pally web store launches!

a few weeks ago one of my favorite LA designers, rachel pally, launched her online store!  finally one place to find all your rachel pally.  i'm also excited cause not only is there finally a place to find all the styles, but rachel pally just happens to be the newest client at my job!  seriously, i haven't been so excited about a new client before!

the launch shoots went really well, and it was so much fun getting to work with rachel.  she is pretty awesome!

of course there are so many things i want, but the emmyloo dress was my favorite and totally calling my name from day 1.  when i first saw the dress so many different outfits popped into my head, so naturally i bought the dress.  check out two ways to wear the dress, first a great casual weekend look for running errands or hanging out at a friends house.
