holiday dress - pt. 3

happy new year!  i figured i'd better post the last of my holiday dress photos before its too late and holiday outfits are completely irrelevant.  while i had originally planned to do 4 different looks with the madewell dress, i ended up just hanging out at home on new years eve.  getting all dressed up seemed rather pointless when i'm just watching a movie at home.  for christmas dinner i wore my penfield shirt over the dress to change things up a bit, plus i didn't really need a jacket!

the other day i received a package in the mail and couldn't remember what i had ordered, that is until i realized it was a gift from sugarlips apparel!  inside the package was this adorable pastel blue top!  i kept staring at the top hanging in my closet for a few days trying to decide how i wanted to style it and i had a vision - leopard jeans.  only i didn't have any.  i was lusting over these leopard jeans forever, but lets be honest - i'm not gonna be wearing leopard jeans enough to justify spending $200!  and then i walked into target and i saw leopard jeans!  perfect!

we've had some fantastic weather in LA the past few days!  i left work monday night and i didn't need to put my jacket on - so amazing!  hope you all have a wonderful week!

happy monday... i guess. does anyone like monday?   i don't particularly love monday.  especially when its a holiday and so many people get the day off, but i still have to work.  such a bummer.

i wore this almost all black outfit the other day when i was feeling lazy.  i hadn't worn all black in the longest time, it definitely felt a little weird.  hope you all have a great week, and enjoy your day off - if you are lucky enough to get presidents day off!

st. valentine's

we aren't big on celebrating valentine's day.  this year the only thing i did for the holiday was wear my pink jason wu for target blouse, it seemed kinda valentine's day-ish!

we had left-overs for dinner and watched a movie.  not that different from any other night, except that i gave the dog a bath! whether you celebrate v-day or not, i hope you all had a wonderful day!

pleats for days

okay. so. i totally meant to do a blog post yesterday but, um i just started watching glee on netflix instant view...  and its very distracting.  i'm already half-way through season 2.  so if you didn't think i was a big enough nerd already, now i'm all into glee.  anywaaaaay.  i got this pleated maxi on super sale at madewell - $29.99 from $140.  kinda amazing.

happy monday all!  and it actually is a happy monday, my mom is taking me to the spa tonight!  a nice early christmas present!  anyway, just a quick post with my outfit from last thursday - when i went to the event at the new west elm store in LA!
