easter sunday

i wasn't raised with any kind of religion and i don't know what exactly easter is celebrating. for me it's mostly just an excuse for family to get together and eat too much good food. waaaaay too much good food. like i'm still full too much food.

we had a very, very warm weekend so i was finally able to wear my free people dress that my mom gave me for my birthday!  hope you all had a good weekend/easter/passover!

p.s. if you are wondering what is on the top of my head, its a tiny flower from the avocado tree i was sitting under.

i wore this outfit with the intention of going to an event after work on thursday night, however... by the time work was over i was exhausted (mostly cause i went to see star wars in 3d on wednesday night. yup, i did.) and decided to just go home and relax. i'll find some other event to wear it too, i'm sure!

its starting to really feel like spring here in L.A., i was actually a little warm in this outfit!  also, its barely noticeable but i got a hair cut!  i think it was like two inches  it feels a lot shorter than it looks.  now i have to decide if i should stick with ombre or grow it out and go all natural.  any thoughts?  happy friday! 

tgif (more leopard in my closet)

i really hate the whole "tgif" thing, but seriously i'm so happy its friday! it was such a rough week and i only worked 4 days too!  dog fight + two vet trips + day and a half long crazy shoot makes me tired.  anywayssss, i've been obsessing over this bb dakota top ever since we shot it... back in november, and i finally decided to get it!

btw - bb dakota is one of our new clients at work and just launched their new e-comm site a few months ago!  you should definitely check out the site if you haven't already!  spring is up (and i've got a quite a few things i want!) and holiday is on sale!

p.s. now that i have this top, i'm only a pair of pants away from being able to wear an entire leopard outfit!

just a quick outfit post with an outfit i saved from a few weeks ago.  i kept meaning to post these shots but just didn't get around to it till now.  this outfit is incorporating pretty much all my favorite items right now.  i can't even being to describe how much i love these sam edelman loafers!  i always get so many compliments when i wear them, its hard not to wear them everyday!

new years eve... day

happy new year!  hope you all had a wonderful NYE!  i was running around doing errands all day on new years eve day, and of course i needed to wear my fab sam edelman adena loafers (which i am obsessed with!) to go to home depot!  i ended up in an outfit that had everything my boyfriend gave me for christmas (he obvi reads the blog & saw my xmas list).  i also just picked up one of those pop phones by native union from my favorite local boutique, letters from LA, which i LOVE!  the pink looks so cute with my leopard phone case!

i spent NYE with bf - we went to dinner & then just watched a movie at home.  mellow, easy night.  except that i fell asleep before midnight!  oops!

the party outfit in bits and pieces

the worst part of being a blogger in the winter - it gets dark really early and can't really take outfit photos at night! friday was the holiday party for the company i work at, and since it was night i had to take some photos inside.  gross.  i hate using the flash!  the photos never turn out good unless you have a really really really well lit room. i don't.  does anyone really?  there were three acceptable photos, and i just really wanted to be able to share this holiday party look!

the party was fun, per the usual.  this was actually the 5th holiday party with the company so i knew what to expect.  if you are working at a new job and wondering, "how drunk can i get?" check out this hilarious article (but sooo true!).  i work at a "cool company" so it can get pretty wild!  hope you all have as much fun as i did at my company party!
